Visual Integrator offers a wide range of Business Intelligence capabilities. We enable customers to derive higher business value from enterprise corporate data, in areas such as Enterprise Resource Planning, sales force automation, and customer relationship management. Business Intelligence tools analyze data in a decision support system (DSS) for trends, anomalies and exceptions, and generate user-defined reports and dashboards. A DSS typically includes a data warehouse and one or more data marts created by migrating data “snapshots” from ERP and other enterprise systems. Business Intelligence helps an organization leverage its investment in new and existing systems by transforming data into informational insight, which can expedite decision making.
Data Warehousing:
Our data warehouse solutions vary from the simplest reporting database to the most complex Business Intelligence system, which delivers knowledge to your desktop. Our experience with Data Warehousing, Extract Transform & Load methodologies, and Data Migration & Cleansing enables us to develop custom data warehouse solutions which fully integrate operational data from Financials, Manufacturing, and your internet, E Business applications.
Our Business Intelligence & Data Management services provide our clients with the design methodologies and techniques to turn data into useable business information and knowledge by analyzing it for trends, anomalies and exceptions, and distributing that knowledge to key constituents.
Search and Content Delivery:
Enterprise Information Portal- An Enterprise Information Portal (EIP) provides a personalized conduit to information. It typically includes single sign-on, search and discovery, a defined taxonomy, and integration with other information management components such as information analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise content management. Our Information Management Group starts with a portal framework to capture the portal design requirements.
Collaboration increases organizational effectiveness by creating a knowledge-centric organization that captures, shares, and leverages valuable intellectual capital. Our Information Management Group helps organizations develop Communities of Interest to improve collaboration.
Enterprise Search & Discovery- Enterprise Search & Discovery includes taxonomy development and the implementation of search, visualization, and discovery tools to improve information access and reveal relationships between the search results.
Content Management:
Enterprise Content Management provides tools that electronically capture, track, organize, and retrieve unstructured content, such as documents, images, and rich media, regardless of type or format, this includes:
Document Management
Imaging
Web Content Management
Records Management
Digital Asset Management (DAM)
Information Rights Management
Enterprise Content Management helps organizations make large volumes of content available to the right people at the right time by integrating content management with workflow, imaging and portal technologies.
Data Management:
Information Architecture- An Information Architecture provides a reference vocabulary for the consistent and repeatable exchange of information. It typically includes a data dictionary, a reference schema, as well as, rules that define its structure, maintain its consistency, and govern its use. Many of today’s information architectures include XML exchange schemas and XML instance documents that facilitate re-usable and extendable data exchange. An information architecture must also address Information Integration by providing the capability to link and analyze disparate information sources through a common interface such as a Enterprise Information Portal enabled with Enterprise Search & Discovery.
Data Management & Integration- Data Migration tools extract business data, transform it into useful information and load it into a Decision Support System (DSS) or Operational Data Store (ODS). Data Integration tools support the replication of data between business application databases, decision support systems, operational and other data stores. Database Administration tools support logical and physical database design, database management, performance tuning and metadata descriptions (e.g., structure of tables, reports, and cubes).
